The BOTY Sessions at the Architect Show feature a series of talks dedicated to Greek architectural projects nominated for Building of the Year. Throughout the discussions, the architects present the ideas, design approaches, and inspiration behind their work, addressing an audience that truly values and actively supports architectural creativity.

Konstantinos Karampatakis, founding partner of K-Studio, presents the LIKNON project in Samos, a landmark embedded within a century-old vineyard and closely connected to the history of Metaxa.
The design dissolves the traditional boundaries of the museum, offering an experiential journey through the vineyard’s natural landscape. Architecture and landscape coexist seamlessly, creating an immersive exploration that highlights the visitor’s relationship with place and nature.

Alexandre Pavlidis, founder of OFFICE MUTO, presents the House with a Garden project in Milos, a contemporary residence that integrates harmoniously into its natural surroundings.
The design is organized around a central courtyard that ensures natural light and ventilation, while the use of local materials and a minimalist architectural approach creates a balanced continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, strengthening the connection between the residence and the landscape.

The design incorporates volcanic tones, bronze mirrors, and custom-designed furniture, blending contemporary aesthetics with natural elements. With a strong focus on sustainability, the project reduces energy consumption and environmental impact, promoting a more responsible approach to architectural design.

The project is characterized by clean lines and large glass surfaces that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces. The villa emphasizes integration with its natural surroundings, using native vegetation and an elegant design approach that enhances the landscape.
