Wasted: if the Walls Could Speak

The Architect Show 2023 reaffirmed its position as a leading architecture and design event in Greece, attracting more than 6,500 visitors and over 170 brands at Metropolitan Expo. A central highlight was the installation “Wasted: If the Walls Could Speak”, curated by John Veikos and Anna Sbokou. The installation explored sustainability through material reuse, featuring 15 unique installations. At the same time, the Architect_Talks conference, titled “Futurespective” and curated by Archisearch and Design Ambassador, brought together more than 60 speakers who examined the future of cities and emerging sustainable practices. The participation of DAAily Platforms AG—with ArchDaily, designboom, and Architonic—as well as the presence of KOSMORIDE, further strengthened the event’s international profile. Overall, 2023 marked yet another dynamic year for the institution, highlighting the strong connection between architecture, innovation, and sustainability within a unified creative landscape.
