Waste not Want not

The Architect Show 2022 cemented its status as Greece’s foremost institution for architecture and design, drawing unprecedented participation with more than 6,000 professionals and 150 top-tier brands at Metropolitan Expo. The collaboration with international media ArchDaily, designboom, and Architonic (DAAily Platforms AG) took center stage, alongside the on-site presentation of the ArchDaily Building of the Year 2022 Awards through a curated installation featuring notable projects by internationally acclaimed practices such as Kengo Kuma & Associates, MVRDV, Selgascano, Junya Ishigami + Associates, alongside established Greek offices including 314 Architecture Studio, Tombazis & Associates, Aristides Dallas Architects, decaARCHITECTURE, and Urban Soul Project. As a parallel initiative, the special installation Waste not Want not, curated by John Veikos and Anna Sbokou, brought into the limelight the pressing issues of material reuse and carbon footprint reduction. A comprehensive program of over 60 talks and thematic sessions further consolidated tAS as a versatile stage for dialogue, innovation, and meaningful professional exchange within the architectural community.
