Praxitelis Kondylis
Owner & principal architect at A31 Architecture
Praxitelis Kondylis was born in Athens. He graduated from the Technical University of Budapest School of Architecture (BME) obtaining a Master’s of Science degree in Architecture and Architectural Engineering. He further advanced his academic background at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), where he obtained Master’s of Architecture degree in Interior Design, whereas he fulfilled his pursuit of scientific knowledge by attending a Doctoral Programme in the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB). There, he was involved in the research programme “El sentido de la Arquitectura Moderna”, held at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) by Helio Piñón (Professor and collaborator of Enric Miralles). Having completed his academic journey, he collaborated with architectural firms in Barcelona whereas in 2003 the time was right for him to establish his own architectural studio, A31 architecture, in central Athens. He has participated in various international architectural competitions, receiving several prizes and awards. He has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) since 2000 and the Cyprus Scientific Technical Chamber (ETEK) since 2006. Various projects and articles of his have been published both in the Greek and International press.
