Fanis Kafantaris

Architect, head of architecture & design at NEON

Fanis Kafantaris is an architect and has been the Head of Architecture & Design at NEON Organization since 2017. He studied at the NTUA School of Architecture in Athens where he completed an advanced postgraduate programme in Architecture theory and design. He practices architecture and he has also worked in academic research in Urbanism. He has participated and curated contemporary art exhibitions.
With NEON he develops the architectural design of the exhibitions and the spaces there – among others
“Space of togetherness” at the Drama School of the National Theater of Greece, “Portals” and “Dream On” at the former public tobacco factory in Athens – Library and Printing-house of the Parliament of Greece, and the exhibitions of Antony Gormley at the Archaeological Site of Delos Island –
Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades, and of Adrián Villar Rojas at the National Observatory in Athens.
