Efi Falida
Journalist at the newspaper “TA NEA”
Born in Athens, she studied History at the Ionian University and has been writing for the cultural pages of the newspaper “TA NEA” since 1990, where she maintains her own column focusing on the cultural, aesthetic, and social phenomenon of fashion. She also curates the interview series “A Coffee with…” for the same newspaper, engaging in discussions with interviewees on topics of contemporary cultural discourse.
As a curator, she has presented exhibitions such as “Fashion in Greece during the 1980s” at Technopolis, “Doulamas: An Experiment in Fashion and Art” at Kanari 4, “The Diary of a Seamstress” at Angeliki Antonopoulou Art Gallery (including the publication of the homonymous catalogue by Kapon Editions), “Kostis Velonis: Ghost Beggar” at Kalfayan Galleries (including a catalogue of the same title), “Eva Mitala: Atelier Portable” at Ileana Tounta Art Gallery, “Irini Karagiannopoulou: Hotberg” at Angeliki Antonopoulou Art Gallery, “Demi Kaia: Biblioptaera” at the Angelos and Leto Katakouzenos Residence, and “Weavings: Beyond the Horizon, Beneath the Skin. Contemporary Art in the Window of S.E.N” — a program showcasing contemporary artists at the shop of the Hellenic Girl Scouts Association.
