The former Public Tobacco Factory, located on Lenorman Street in Athens, is an iconic industrial building with a significant history. In 2000, the building was allocated to the Hellenic Parliament and has since housed its Library and Printing Office.
Constructed between 1928 and 1930 to meet the demands of the tobacco industry, as the first tobacco factory on Aristotelous Street was deemed inadequate, the building covers a total area of 19,000 square meters. It consists of four wings surrounding a large glass-roofed courtyard measuring 1,000 square meters.
