May diverse echo words acquire spatial structure and become the core of a multi-story building? Entopoeia is actually a tower of notions based on the 13 onomatopoeias by Kengo Kuma. Following an open voting process, the 13 Onomatopoeias are ranked in ascending order of preference, with each one representing a corresponding floor in the vertical building structure. Each floor is algorithmically parametrized according to the design principles of the respective concept and consists of one to three combinations of materials. The mockup construction of the Entopoeia Tower is realized through cutting-edge 3D printing technologies, creating its physical manifestation (Physical Onomatopoeia), while its digital counterpart (Digital Onomatopoeia) leverages AI technology and is presented as a structural narrative in one of Athens’ most prominent locations, as determined by public voting at the exhibition.
